This turtle fellow is the French horn player in the Woodland Symphony Orchestra. Herschel isn’t really French, he just likes the instrument. (He also likes escargot, but don’t tell that to the little snail behind him!) It is difficult to fit tuxedos for turtles, so Herschel wears a black tie only. Herschel and his friend Jean Pierre often perform at wedding ceremonies and bar mitzvahs. Ringo, the drummer, also likes to use Herschel’s shell as a percussion instrument.
